I’m real close to buying an RV. The only problem is I don’t have anywhere to park it right now. It is 21 feet in length. How much do these RV parking rentals usually cost? Do they usually provide somewhere to dump your toilet water?
…check out "gprving.com" they have links to a lot of rental spaces. Here you can get basic information on Rving.
I’m hoping to pay less than $200/day for the rentals (near Anchorage)
…Check out "gorving.com".i think they still have a guide to rentals.
HI,
I'm looking for the best place to rent an Class A 30 foot RV with out the crazy 2000-3000 dollar security deposits. So far i found two places that don't have them.
I found a few that have 500 deposits only. 500 is fine, but 2-3K is nuts when the rental itself is about $1100.
Im looking to go from DFW to ABQ, New Mexico (approx 1300 miles) Oct 2-5, would like pick up thur 1st, return monday 5th, 2009.
Also, any with unlimited mileage would be nice.
Thanks
Jason

We're renting an RV to drive out of state to visit family. A critical question I forgot to ask the guy who is renting the RV to us - will we be able to plug the RV into a standard home outlet? The rental guide says it comes with a 110-adapter, but it doesn't say how many amps. I'm not sure the house we're visiting has anything but common wall outlets, the kind you plug a TV or hair-dryer into. The rental office is closed today, so I can't call him, and we're leaving Monday. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
Look for a label or plaque that indicates the cord's maximum capacity.
Our family camper truck had a regular (but heavy) 110V cord on it, to support the small fridge, TV, and a space heater. We just plugged it into a standard wall outlet in the garage when we were home.
Truth is, depending on the size of the RV you want, you'll pay out the @ss. Typically it's $120 and up per day and you only are allowed like 100 miles per day. If you're planning on taking a trip, it's more economical to fly, or to BUY your own RV. How ridiculous is that? I've looked and looked to take my family on vacation but at those prices, it borders on ridiculous.
Try the largest and oldest for a comfortable rental. The two listed below are well recommended in the RV industry.
am doing a 2 week trip starting and returning to San Fran - want to hire a 4 adult birth luxury RV - any suggestions?
I see cruise America RV's everywhere.. They are all over Yosemite, the Napa valley, San francisco, the coast and on and on,but like one other answer, I believe you have to go to Oakland for the RV, but that is not far at all from San Francisco.
those camping RV trucks
Try this site and you will get an idea depending on your needs. They have a calculator, which can estimate your cost of renting + variable cost of driving, depending on size of the rental.

would like to rent a rv or trailer for family vacations would like to no how much your rental fees
It depends where you are, what kind of RV you want, and how long you have it.
Since you put your question in San Francisco, I'm guessing you're looking for Northern California rentals. Here's one where you can put in your info for a rate quote:
