would like to rent a rv or trailer for family vacations would like to no how much your rental fees

It depends where you are, what kind of RV you want, and how long you have it.

Since you put your question in San Francisco, I'm guessing you're looking for Northern California rentals. Here's one where you can put in your info for a rate quote:

My husband and I are thinking of renting an RV and camping this coming Memorial Weekend ('09). I'm looking for a place in TX which has good RV campsites with shade and either right on the water (lake, ocean, river) or with water views.

I'd also love to have easy access to swimming, fishing, and possibly boat rentals.

Does any one have a place in mind that they've personally experienced? Any photos?

Thanks!

try going to nps.gov and click your state then type in what your looking for. that should help some.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Me and a friend were planning on moving out into an apartment when we noticed we could get a fairly alright RV or camper for $12,000 - we could get a loan for it and pay the loan off over time (interest won't really matter), and have the ability to roam around and temporarily live somewhere while looking for a job without having to pay for housing.

Of course there's cleaning the septic tank but we can always find an RV park or something. :/

Good idea or no?

YEAH!! Why not!! Go for it!! If you guys are young and just starting out, I think it would be a great idea!! You can move where you want to, when you want to. Living on the road for a year or so is especially convenient right now due our current fragile economy (meaning… you will probably be able to get temporary jobs during your pit stops) and a great way to see the USA!!

KOA Campgrounds has RV campgrounds in every state in the country and Canada!! http://www.koa.com/
You guys can work out a cleaning schedule for the RV, which is the least of your problems.

This is a once in a life time opportunity, so take it!! If you don't, you'll always wonder "Why didn't we….?" RIGHT?…RIGHT!!! So, go get the RV tomorrow, hit the road, and send me a post card!!!…

HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!…really!!…(I'm jealous…)

they have mailed me new loan papers to sign that raised the payment $50.00 and will end in 2012 with balloon note of $50,000,I only make minimum wage, this loan is immpossile and I used my family land for security to buy an R.V. to live in on land . the loan paid for the r.rv and they also hold that title to it and 35 acres of land. I will lose land and R.V. if I miss payment. I cannot afford legal advice.
I do not have trust in this bank, after I filed B.R. in the legal time frame to prevent public sale in small town, the bank attorney sold the land in public auction claiming they did not recieve the message to halt from my B.R lawyer, causing great family feud and embarressment, they did reverse it after damage was done, they raised the loan almost 20,000 due to few days of interest while I struggled to file bankruptcy and also 7000.00 for attorneys fees added which is all included on new papers they want me to sign. This is in S.Ga. I am now legal resident of FL after moving here with family and securing employment.Need legal advice in Lake City FL,could I renew this loan with new company?Do not want to lose land family owned and pd for for 100 yrs.Do not wish to be locked into this bank that my ex-n-laws have ties with and constantly try to breack me,they are who the bank attorney tried to sell land to,I have always felt this small town takeover attempt,I need new loan for longer period
Should I try for loan with local companies, online, in Fl or do I have to keep loan in Ga. where land is? How do I know who to trust? How should I gather advice?

Did you reaffirm this loan in your bankruptcy? If so they can not force you to agree to new terms, interest and payments they must honer the original agreement.

You need to talk to your bankruptcy attorney this is what you paid them for.

Me and 3 of my friends are going to Talladega and thinking of renting an RV instead of staying at a hotel…we figured if we're going to Dega, might as well do it right… my question is this: I've been digging and digging on the internet just for general price range to little or no avail.. can anybody tell me about how much it would be to rent an RV for that weekend???

I don't know how you're "digging," so I can't tell you what you're doing wrong.

I have been unemployed for just about 8 months right now. My resume, when the job market was good, was a decent resume. I had some help from an associate at the last institution I worked for, however, reviewing it, I do not feel it is all that strong. Could I get some help or just another set of eyes to look at it and let me know what you think?

Also, should I list my unemployed status? I am working part time at Target while unemployed for some supplemental income, should I post that? Should I leave Linens n Things on there, even thought it was only one month?

Thank you in advance,
–A sad and frustrated banker.

*aigh* The recession is killing me. I have had a fullt-time eBay business (successful) for 9 years but my income has dropped to the point where I'm still current on all my bills but taking cash-advances off credit cards occasionally to get them paid (just one card and that's the first I pay back, and ASAP, actually I just transferred that debt to another card — that's another question…does that debt transfer as "cash-advance" or do they not know that when they pay off the balance of another card). I'm working three part-time jobs in hopes of not having to do that anymore. I live in my rig (2001 36' fifth wheel) full-time and am staying put for a year to save money, and I'm looking at spaces on private property this week to cut my current $270 space fee in half. I'm already paying nearly $600 for the loans on the vehicles. I called the bank about refinancing and because I was honest about my income drop (dumb), they not only couldn't lower it, the new estimated rate was higher than I'm paying now.

Who would you go to to look into a better rate on these loans? I'm currently paying 9.29% on the truck and 10.29% on the rig.

I have $20,000 in credit card debt which doesn't help matters, with another $11,000 available. None of the cards are "maxed out", I even have one card with a $9000 limit with a zero balance, but it's not pretty. I just want to cut every corner I can to help get this debt paid down.

I'm 42 but was out of the game with mercury poisoning most of my adult life and started the eBay business at 32 a few years after getting my diagnosis, so I could set my own hours and focus on my health. I had almost all my debt paid off before putting a lot down on the rig and the truck in '07, just before the gas prices spiked and the economy started to tank. So here I am again.

Thanks ahead of time for any help or suggestions.
My credit rating fluctuates between the high 600's and the low 700's. But it's surely dropping rapidly with the additional $7000 of debt in the last eight months.
I'm sorry, I guess I forgot to add that I'm not an idiot. I don't respond to offers from private individuals (never mind people with anonymous e-mail addresses, and I'm sure as heck not gonna offer up my personal information to some outfit I've never heard of. The fact that you folks would try to steal the identity of someone who is already having a hard enough time is reprehensible.

I live long term in an RV park. Last month a tree that was supposed to have been trimmed 6 months earlier lost a hugebranch and it took out my awning. The RV insurance covered that, but shouldn't the Park reimburse the deductable paid? They moved me to a spot where I now cannot use my awning and summer will be here in a couple of months.
Know about these rights or a site that has infomation?
By law the RVs have to be moved every 8 months to a different site. I knew that time was coming and went to the office and talked to the interim managers and to the owner of the park. The owner told me "sufficient" notice will be given" as I was concerned, as I have a land line so I can get affordable DSL. She showed up at my door at 5:30pm the previous evening and handed me a paper saying I'd have to be ready to move in one day. I rushed like mad to get ready and then she came and extended it one day as someone else refused to move so quickly. Now I'm stuck in the spot that I explained about above. I could barely get the slideout open. I am truly angry and want to know my rights before I approach her again.
Paying the deductable, because due to their carelessness the tree was not taken care of as is required and caused damage, duress and could have easily landed on a neighbors much smaller RV and ruined it or him. I am paying for their irresponsible behavior ( as far as the tree) We long termers are the Park's bread and butter and should be considered first over others. If we all left they'd sink. (no we all can't leave, I wish we could, emass!!)

Why would they be paying your deductable? They normally would not, unless you have something like that in your contract.

Honestly, I have no idea if they have to move you to an awning friendly spot or not, but I doubt that they have to take your personal possessions into account. I would expect the only thing they have to take into account is the size of your RV.
