I have an RV that I still owe 13k on, the bank refuses to renegotiate my loan in any way. Now what?? I have tried to get it refinance other places, and my income to debt ratio is to high. The bank said they couldn't help me and offered to come get my RV. How do I do that so they don't try to garnish my wages for what ever is left on the loan?
What you have to do is find a buyer that will pay you what you owe so that you can pay off this RV loan. Either that, or get a second job to raise your income to lower your debt to income ratio.
My girlfriend and I are travelling from New York to San Francisco by RV from Mid July to end of September 2009, around 87 days. I have a few questions and would appreciate if anyone can help us with the following:
Renting an RV:
I have checked the internet but the RV rental sites are annoying to deal with to get some idea of the cost per day. Does anyone have a good RV rental company and what should we pay per day all-in. I was thinking a large Class B, small Class A (might need space sometimes!). Any advice on best deals in New York city?
Parking:
does anyone know of an easy to use website with parking spots by state?
Any other information about RV's would be appreciated as I have not driven one before - insurance, getting water, propane, etc.
I have a full irish licence, will this be enough?
James
Most walmart stores allow you to park your RV overnight for free.

This is the best site for RV rentals

on your trip you must see Zion and Bryce National parks along with Grand Canyon, Las Vegas
Me and 3 of my friends are going to Talladega and thinking of renting an RV instead of staying at a hotel…we figured if we're going to Dega, might as well do it right… my question is this: I've been digging and digging on the internet just for general price range to little or no avail.. can anybody tell me about how much it would be to rent an RV for that weekend???
I rented one in Louisiana once to go to Talladega. It was from Cross Country RV rentals and with unlimited mileage it was 250 a day.
How do we finance a small loan of $25,000 to get RV Delivery Service on the road?
In this times is pretty difficult to find financing, but i will suggest business angels

a couple of months ago i bought an rv to live in. i have it hooked up so its not being driven. so my question is , in order to keep my registration from being revoked must i file a non-op or whats the deal?
I live in ca. all of the fees have been paid and rv is currently registered
autoinsurance.noneto.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.
You got people that want to purchase RV's with good credit that can't get a loan to purchase an RV.. Thats HOGWASH! People are not buying RV's because they are overpriced gas guzzling, depreciation, pieces of junk. You got a nation on edge b/c they dont know if gas is going to go to $4.00 a gallon.. Thats why people are not buying RV's.. BE HONEST with the people OBAMA!
bdzot, sure does! Priceless Point!
Slaps - It will just drain money from our economy to prop up a useless government. PRICELESS!!!! They all want it passed so they insure they all get a pay check.. Forget about us… I think America is headed to a society of those that have and those that have not..
so true. he result of gas spiking then dropping back is no one wants to buy a car. All automakers are in serious decline. Of course the press pretends that American automakers are in worse shape than the rest, but Honda and Toyota are just as hard hit, and RVs are much harder hit.
Then Obama pretends a porkulus bill will help, but in fact it will just drain money from our economy to prop up a useless government. What a liar.
And getting to be a crybaby.

Contact your local government and see if they offer some kind of debt relief services.
Is it possible to rent it out so that you can cover your monthly payments?
i have a rv it was in a flood the insurance totaled it out but wont pay full coverage of the loan they are about $10,000 to short what i owe is what a used trailer is selling for now. need help
The best lawyer in the world can't make an insurer pay more than the vehicle is worth if that's what the policy stated.
However….. you might want to have a 'word' with the agent, or whoever else, sold you the policy without fully appraising you of this fact !
i bought a luxurious 36ft RV for about 28k and i need out of this loan the payments are becoming unbarable…your probably gonna ask why did i buy the rv in the first place?? well i was going to live in it and travel the world but with the bad econmy thats not possible plus i might loose my job!! what can i do to get out of this loan??? i dont want to reuin my credit..my credit is soo good i already had some dings that took me two years to fix and pay off i dont want to reuin my credit ..im so upset at myself for buying this rv…its been about year or so with it and i bought it when the prices for rvs were so good and the economy wasnt bad so now im just worried andi need out!!! what are my options?? 10points to best answer

YOU PEOPLE ARE REALLY WEIRD I DONT NEED A LOAN!!1 I NEED OUT OF A LOAN I DONT WANT TO REFINANCE I DONT WANT DO ANY OF THAT I WANT OUT OF THIS LOAN WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS TO GET OUT!!!!!!!! IM BROKE AS HELL SO DONT TRY TO SELL ME ON YOUR LOAN COMPANY
Call the lender and try to negotiate some different terms. That's what the TARP money and bailouts are supposed to be for. They don't want to reposses an RV, believe me. You might be surprised. Good luck.
i bought a nice rv about year ago and its done more harm then good to us because of the monthly payments and upkeep of it i got myself in trouble by buying it..im only 24 been married 5 years we love camping and traveling and we lived in it for 2 months so we got reason to have one but im really worried about the economy and dont want get bad credit if something bad happens or we loose jobs or something..i have good credit right now i dont want mess it up..we had to buy a car too because our old one broke down so i have lots debt but the biggest one is the rv and i want out of it..any tips? i know worse case we could live in the rv if we losted jobs but the montly dues is almost as much as a apt please make me feel better about having this rv…i love it we use it alot its just im worried grrr
WE PAY 400 MONTH FOR THE LOAN OF THE RV AND A RV SPOT WOULD COST NO LESS THEN 400 SO ITS ABOUT AS MUCH AS A APT BUT WITH NO AS MUCH SPACE AND I HAVE KIDS SO ITS HARD
If you are trying to sale it list one of the options as " can also take over payment with credit approval".
